Uncharted Waters Online Getting PS3 Version

Koei's popular PC franchise Uncharted Waters is coming to the PLAYSTATION 3. The series is set between the 15th and 17th century and lets players manage a fleet of ships as they trade, hunt for treasure, explore and do pirate shit. And now, it'll be on the PS3. So there.
Service starts next year and will be on the same server as the PC version.

God damn it, i saw "Uncharted" and my heart started to flutter!... Then i did the commonplace doubletake and find that i am still without more information on Uncharted 2. :'(

Uncharted Waters: New Horizons on the SNES is one of my all-time favourite games. I wonder how the series has done since then... might be worth a look.

I used to play that on the Genesis and I had the PC version later. Definitely one of those time eating games though.
KOE seems to be a lot of "time eating" games.

(Sorry, after the Tekken 6 360 threads, this was sorta inevitable.
Also, how might it stack up against Sid Meier's "Pirates!"?)

@ryivanV2: Same here. Uncharted remains one of my top 5 favorite PS3 games. I do like the idea of this weird thing called Uncharted Waters though. Watch it come out the same week as Uncharted just to further confuse PS3 owners.

Weird timing, I just got readdicted to Uncharted New Horizons, the old pc version.
I hope they do a good job holding true to the spirit of that great game.

Koei always has a number of unique games in the 8 bit and 16 bit days. Now let's hope for a new Liberty or Death!
