When Talking Plush Murlocs Attack

By far the most popular item available for purchase at BlizzCon 2008, the plush talking murloc doll from the lovely folks at Jinx completely sold out yesterday at the convention, and today's allotment is going quickly as well, with lines stretch across the convention floor. I managed to beg, plead, cry, and pay $US40 for one of the little bastards, which I quickly brought up to the press room to unbox. Things were going great, until the little fish creature took a liking to my hand. The possibly NSFW results, after the jump.

Mmm $40 and completely sold out, just like the Portal Cube plush. I hope the doll is loud enough that it also vibrates while gurgling.
I laughed my ass off when I clicked More Video and saw the "TGS Good Morning" Wave.

come on fahey don't you know saying "stop stop stop" is really just being heard as "more more more" :p
i would like one but i not enough to pay crazy amounts of money for it. if its something jinx starts to sell on their site that would be awesome.

Because they're effing hilarious. Why do you think Harley Quinn was the breakout new character from Batman: The Animated Series? Evil + borderline incompetent = funny as hell. Throw in the fact that they both look and sound like mutant frog-creatures, and even some of us who've never even once seriously considered playing WoW think they're cool beans. It's more surprising that noone's tried to turn them into an animated TV series yet (no, I don't see it working out, due to how they "talk", but maybe some web shorts could work).

The line for these was ridiculous. Jinx and Blizzard definitely weren't prepared for the onslaught that attacked the Jinx booth. The line wrapped all over the middle hall, through the exhibitor's area and all. It was a real pain in the ass to get around that hall haha.
