Finally!
ThreeSpeech, Sony’s semi-official Europe-centric Playstation blog, brings word of the official track listing for upcoming SingStar ABBA.
The list manages to pick most of the best out of the eight or so albums the Swedish supergroup released over its two decade life. Maybe this will kick that ABBA museum planned for Stockholm back to life.
Hit the jump for the list of 20 songs coming to both the PS2 and PS3 versions of the game and the extra five the PS3 version gets.
Urge to groove building. Must… snap…. fingers….
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today announced a deal with ABBA to bring the band’s groovelicious music to SingStar on the Playstation 2 and Playstation 3. SingStar ABBA is being developed in collaboration with the Swedish Pop band…aka most played band on my iPhone.
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with ABBA to bring their tracks to SingStar this Christmas,” said David Reeves, President, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. “The popularity of this iconic band continues year after year, and we know SingStar fans will be delighted to add this selection of classics tracks to their SingStar collection.”
Is it me or does that sound like Reeves has never gotten down with his funky self?
Remember that kick-ass God of War-themed Playstation Portable we wrote about last month? The one with the crushed velvet case, the chains, the copper-leafing? Well it finally sold at the end of the month for a whopping $US1,725, but that’s no surprise, something that beautiful deserves a high asking price.
What is surprising, and more than a bit neat, is that the buyers were none other than Ready at Dawn, the studio currently working on God of War Chains of Olympus for the PSP.
