In the case of Aliens: Colonial Marines — out this spring for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC — that involves having different classes of aliens with acid-burning blood fighting against a group of marines.

Slow-mo trailers are all the rage these days, usually depicting extreme violence set to moody, emo pop music. It’s certainly become a popular practice in gaming advertising, and with good reason — those moody, introspective ads for intense action games can be pretty cool.
We’ve seen this Aliens: Colonial Marines demonstration twice now: Crecente caught it at E3 and I saw it at Gamescom. We both walked away rather impressed. Now you can see how you walk away.
