The Arena player-versus-player system coming in Diablo III blew fans away at BlizzCon 2010. Stunlock Studios’ newly-released free-to-play PC arena combat game Bloodline Champions feels a lot like Blizzard’s competitive multiplayer mode.

Hinted at a week ago, the developers of Castle Crashers for the PS3 have more information on the new four-player Arena Mode exclusive to this version of the game. It accommodates 2-on-2, 1-on-3 or good old free-for-all matches.
Blizzard has posted pictures of the Arena Season 8 armour for World of Warcraft, showing off what the fashionable cold-blooded killers will be wearing about town.

During today’s QuakeCon keynote John Carmack unveiled a flurry of announcements including id Software’s newest franchise, Rage, and confirmation of a Return to Castle Wolfenstein movie. They also told the crowd that the new Wolfenstein game is being developed by Raven Software for the PC, 360 and PS3. The mutiplayer portion of the game is being worked on by Threewave Software.
