Ryan, aka “Jabberwock” makes armour. He therefore knows more about armour than I do. He’s noticed, as you might have, that the armour that some female characters wear in video games, comics and movies is ridiculous. Some of it is not.
The Game Science Museum at the Tokyo Game Show this year housed not only video games but an exhibition of armour and helmets of Japan’s most popular warlords.
When Codemasters released ArchLord in the states back in February of this year, it didn’t exactly fly off the shelves. I’d daresay there are release copies still sitting on a store shelf somewhere right now, sad and lonely, never to be sold. Nice marketing Ed. ArchLord has just recently launched the ArchLord Suit of Armour Battle, where the first player to be crowned ArchLord wins a life-sized suit of plate armour, which they probably just had laying around and had to get rid of anyway. Still, free MMO!

This week’s Bungie Weekly Update is chock full o’ information about the recent announcement that four-player co-op over Xbox Live would be available at ship for Halo 3. Bungie’s Luke and Frankie are on hand to give you all the details on it down to the minutia which I’m told Halo fans are extremely fond of. Other topics include the AV calibration tool, the massive Halo 3 feature in the most recent EGM and Frankie’s trip to Amsterdam. You can even see a larger image of the one posted here so you can drool over another obsessive fan’s awesome Master Chief armour.
