We finally got patching on the Nintendo 3DS, now we’ve got some free add-on content to download. Small steps Nintendo, but it’s finally all coming together. Out this week, in addition to some add-on content is a great new eShop title and a Virtual Console title for the Wii. Like Sands Through the Hourglass, Everybody needs good neighbours.
Well there’s no sign of VVVVVV yet on the eShop even though the game got classified the day it was meant to come out. So let’s move passed that and get onto the games that we do actually have this week.
We’ve been waiting for VVVVVV for ages and just when we were about to get it, it’s snatched from our cold hands! Not to worry, there’s still Monster World IV which is being released in English for the first time ever and the arcade version of Wonder Boy in Monster Land. Oh and Sonic Labyrinth.
Just when you thought a certain section of Nintendo’s download offerings was dead, another game releases on the Virtual Console after several months and makes you go “Well alright then it’s not dead yet”. You’re in for a week of retro, let’s take a look.
There’s just the one title this week for Australia, but it’s kind of a big deal. It’s not Mario, it’s not Zelda and it’s not Halo 4. Why would you think it was?
It’s a bit of a catch-up week this week as we’re getting American seconds. No Game Gear games this week either yet; perhaps they’ll be here next week instead.
This week’s update is like the food at your favourite take away place. You know it’s bad for you, but you’ll eat it anyway. It’s also surprisingly filling. Yep, this week’s update is a big one. I actually had to write something that took longer than five minutes. Amazing!
Apart from a new demo its a flash back update this week, you probably have played both these games before and one of them already might be on your Nintendo 3DS anyway.
It’s time to keep those doggies rolling, this week features both rolling and doggies on display on the eShop, are you man enough to download the Nintendogs+cats demo?
It’s a eShop centric week this week with a new Virtual Console title and a new retail demo to try out. Wii owners get a demo of a game that came out a while back, that’s just how Nintendo rolls these days.
