You might remember the above Mass Effect 3 CG trailer, a stirring three minute montage opening with a young girl playing in a field, ending with the collapse of multiple skyscrapers. FX Guide has put together a really intensive look at how that trailer was made — featuring interviews with the creators, and some really cool looks at some of the teams behind the scenes work. Very interesting stuff.
It’s been a roller-coaster ride for the sprawling Star Wars-based MMO from EA Bioware. The Old Republic‘s solid debut couldn’t help the game from losing a sizeable chunk of players. Now BioWare Austin is losing some of the developers that helped build the game too, according to a statement issued today by BioWare founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka.
Now that the massive 1.2 update for Star Wars: The Old Republic is behind us, it’s time for BioWare to start winning back those 400,000 lost subscribers with some oft-requested features.
BioWare’s extended ending sequences for Mass Effect 3, which are looking to give players a little more closure on the series, will feature lines from at least three of the franchise’s main voice actors.

They also say that they’ve delayed a “key game” from fiscal year 13 to fiscal year 14, which, for those who prefer to speak English, means they’ve delayed a “key game” from coming out by March 31, 2013 to some time after.
