Why Robin Makes Batman Better Cave Story already has a pretty damn good soundtrack, but as with all things, it can be improved by being dipped in liquid fire and rendered into heavy metal. Thankfully there’s Erik Peabody, who has released his new 7-track album “Made of Metal” upon the world.
From NIS America and original developer Nicalis comes Cave Story 3D, a game that graphically overhauls a title that really needed no graphical overhaul. How’d that work out? Let’s take a quick look.
I continue to find myself looking forward to Cave Story 3D on the 3DS — something about the game’s look seems like it will really lend itself to both portable play and to the 3DS’s screen (and hopefully, controls). In fact, I might just be looking forward to this game more than any other upcoming 3DS title except perhaps for Super Mario 3D Land.
The lovely-looking 3DS port of the popular side-scrolling action game Cave Story has been bumped from a planned summer release to November 8, right in there against the likes of Skyrim (November 11) and Modern Warfare 3 (November 8).
