At yesterday’s for the upcoming Xbox 360 port of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (my thoughts here), the folks at CD Projekt also showed us a brand-new intro cinematic that they had created for the game.
This week, I had a chance to sit down and play through a few hours of the upcoming Xbox 360 version of the 2011 PC-exclusive game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The Xbox 360 version will launch on April 17.
Last month we reported that the publisher of The Witcher 2, CD Projekt, were pursuing legal action against those who had illegally downloaded the game. Today they have confirmed that they will be dropping the legal threats.

CD Projekt, the developers of the Witcher series, have been sending letters to alleged German pirates demanding over US$1,000 for having illegally copied the game.
Earlier this year Polish developer CD Projekt Red got into a legal scuffle with Namco Bandai over the distribution rights to the Xbox 360 port of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Now a French court has made it quite clear: THQ is out, and Namco Bandai is in.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Version 2.0 will be a free patch that gives PC gamers a new tutorial system, a survival arena mode, a difficulty-increasing dark mode, oodles of patches and all of the previously released download packs.
