For the five of you that haven’t purchased Halo 3 yet (if you like that sort of thing that is) be sure to check out this week’s Best Buy circular. From today until February 3 they are offering the hugely popular FPS for $US 37.99 which is a $US 22 savings off of the regular listed price of $US 59.99.
Circuit City’s weekly ad offers a $US 10 gift card with a pre-order of Devil May Cry 4 for either the Xbox 360 version or the PS3 version. A $US 10 gift card is also available for pre-orders of the 360 and PS3 versions of Turok. For a full rundown of all the weekly ad deals, check out CheapAssGamer.com.
In the post holiday dust settling, a lot of the stores are trying to get rid of there overstock by having some great sales and today its Circuit City’s turn. They have a number of titles (40) across all systems on sale for a paltry $US 8.96 each and an additional 30 titles at $US 16.96. Here are some of the highlights:

Best of the Sunday Ad Video Game Deals (1/6 – 1/12) [CheapAssGamer] [via GayGamer]
A nice little present for Call of Duty fans. In Circuit City’s weekly ad, they are advertising an offer of a free copy of Call of Duty 3 when you purchase a copy of Call of Duty 4. Also included in the deal is a Call of Duty 4 poster. Great opportunity to fill out your collection if you missed out on the last title or need something to hang over that hole in your wall where you punched it. (I’m looking at YOU, Crecente)
Circuit City weekly ad [Circuit City] [Thanks, Islandkiwi]
As we mentioned previously, electronics retail giant Circuit City subpoenaed video game shopping community CheapAssGamer.com. Circuit City is demanding that CAG turn over information about registered member Speedy1961, who has been posting CC ads on the site before they are released. Today, CAG Productions CEO CheapyD (aka”David Abrams”) has posted Circuit City’s complaint, which is the basis for its subpoena. CAG has responded: CheapyD has filed an objection to this action — a “Motion to Quash” the subpoena based on procedural errors made by CC’s legal eagles, such as failing to include certain documents. What’s more, it seems that CAG Productions, a New York Limited Liability Corporation, is out of the Virginia court’s jurisdiction, where the suit was filed. Circuit City needs a commission to a New York court.
Electronics retailer Circuit City has served CAG Productions with a subpoena. CAG Productions is responsible for popular video game shopping community CheapAssGamer.com, which has 100,000 registered members. The retail giant wants CAG to turn over all personal information about registered forum member Speedy1961, who has been posting weekly CC ads prior to their release on the site. Speedy has also posted them on DVDtalk.com, and that site appears to have received legal action as well. The subpoena mentions one CheapAssGamer thread in particular, which prior to E3 revealed that the PS3 would get a price drop as well as pricing for games at Circuit City as well as game prices at Target and Best Buy. In that subpoena mentioned thread, here’s what Speedy wrote:
Man, the Xbox 360 sales are just coming out of the woodwork. Yesterday we had news that Best Buy has starting selling Xbox 360 premiums with a free copy of Top Spin 2 and Microsoft confirmed that all premiums will now sport an HDMI out. Today Circuit City started selling their Xbox 360 Premiums with a free copy of Table Tennis. Personally, I’d got for the free Table Tennis over the free Top Spin.
