Make Sure Your Copy Of The Old Republic Contains A Registration Code

In anticipation for tomorrow’s official launch of BioWare’s Star Wars: The Old Republic online retailers began shipping copies of the game to customers early so they’d have their registration codes ready. Unfortunately that trick only works if the box has a registration code in it. Many did not.

Microsoft Invalidates Stolen Point Codes, Considers Punishment For Exploiters

An algorithm that allowed the generation of working Microsoft point codes resulted in the unauthorized acquisition of a poorly estimated $US1.2 million in virtual currency. Microsoft tells Kotaku that they looking into to punishing those that took advantage.
