This has got to be a new record. Call of Duty: World at War has only been out for a week and it’s already in an episode of South Park. I wonder why they chose this particular game over all of the other big titles hitting now? I guess it best plays to Cartman’s… unique comedy stylings.
With the election proper only a day away, gamers’ thoughts naturally turn to one thing – video games featuring Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Comedy Central has us covered with Air Milf, an action-filled shooter in which the Governor of Alaska takes out wolves from a helicopter with a high-powered rifle. The key to success lies in stringing together headshots, with the point value rising with each successful kill. While the creators earn points for the dramatic musical score, they lose said points immediately after due to not having the actual Airwolf theme.
Funnyman, warrior-poet and host of The Colbert Report Stephen Colbert was this close to being immortalised in collectible trading card by artist Todd Lockwood. Unfortunately, it would appear that Colbert will have to settle for a television show and best-selling book, as the World of Warcraft card from Upper Deck featuring “Stefen Colbear” doesn’t look like it will see commercial release, in spite of its brilliance.
