Stuff we can use now: The PSP now supports playlists for video and photos, and you can transfer existing ones over from your PC or PS3 to your handheld.

Stuff we can use later: The Digital Comics reader will now be added to your XMB, but it’s completely useless until December, when the actual PSN comic store opens.

The only dates Sony could offer up were “December” for the US, and “mid-December” for the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Ireland.

At the game’s UK launch event, Craig Fairbrass, the voice actor for Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, said the character will get a spinoff comic and possibly a game of his own, although what exactly is not clear.

Here’s the quote, which That VideoGame Blog attributes to audio of the event:

I did in the last game a voice for a character called Gaz and in this game I’m now voicing a guy called Ghost, who now just got a spin-off comic of his own and they’re talking about another little game to go with it. So, I’m quite excited about it. It’s grown and grown and grown.

Destructoid notes the context in which this was mentioned – “another little game to go with” a spinoff comic – means it could be just a flash game to coincide with the book’s launch (which coincided with the game’s Nov. 10 release). That’s a pretty reasonable take, although I’ve asked Robert Bowling if he or Infinity Ward would like to say any more.

He had spent the past year being treated for diabetes.

The first Comic-Con International was held in 1970 and was attended by 300 or so people. This past year Comic-Con was attended by 125,000 and has come to encompass more than comic books.

“Shel had notable foresight in not only believing these people needed some public acknowledgment,” says David Glanzer, a Comic-Con spokesperson, “but that this truly was an American art form that Americans knew very little about.”

Dorf has not been directly involved in running Comic-Con for the past couple of decades.

On a zerg-infested world, the War Pigs come face-to-face with Jim Raynor, but it’s becoming painfully clear that nothing is what it seems, least of all the man who brought them back together for this do-or-die mission – Cole Hickson.

Well besides DLC – which you should hear more about pretty soon – we have an exclusive announcement! We’re releasing a prequel story to Uncharted 1 as a motion comic voiced by your favourite actors from the two games. Stay tuned for more into.

DLC, of course, is not a surprise. But this is the first we’ve heard of a prequel for the Uncharted continuity.
