Halloween is just around the corner, but you’ve still got time to make a sweet Bayonetta costume to prance about in Saturday night. Sega’s Make-A-Witch Foundation website can help.

The degree of help Sega’s website can give is relatively minimal, unfortunately. Suggestions include wearing a skin-tight cat suit, crafting butterfly wings so you can pretend you are always jumping and making sure you get the attitude right, or no one will believe you are the witchy heroine of the upcoming game the website is actually an advertisement for. Here’s an example of a helpful hint:

When it comes to defining characteristics, you’ll be hard pressed to find another action heroine whose eyewear alone could be used to identify her. While you can’t buy the butterfly-adorned sides of her frames over the counter, thin rectangular black rimmed glasses should do the trick.

I can’t remember the last time I placed a pre-order. The idea generally brings bile to my throat. But here’s a pre-order bonus that’s sure to ring a few EB tills. “While stocks last” (how do virtual costume stocks run out?) EB Games is offering an exclusive Kratos costume for Sackboy when you pre-order LittleBigPlanet.

After some poking around online, there is talk that these codes can be shared. But blog entries that say that’s the case in their title don’t seem to make it clear how that is actually the case? So if you REALLY want this, don’t assume you can snag it off a friend who placed a pre-order. Be that friend, and secretly hope it stays as exclusive as they claim.

English web designer Adam made himself a pretty damn cool Sackboy costume. Better still, he wrote up how exactly you can make one too on his website. The 13-step process, which includes buying a plastic bin, bubble wrap, sweat shirts and duct tape, seems fairly doable by even the most spastic of costume creators. Namely me.

I have serious thoughts about doing one of these for Halloween. Pirate Sackboy!!!
