Disney fans have been waiting for news regarding still-rumoured title Epic Mickey 2 since news first slipped around the first of the year.
Disney’s upcoming Wreck-It-Ralph is “the story of an arcade game Bad Guy determined to prove he can be a Good Guy.” Rich Moore, an animation director whose credits include The Simpsons, Futurama and The Critic, is directing. John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch are lending their vocal talents to the flick, with Reilly playing the bad guy Wreck-It Ralph.
In Japan, “doujin” titles are the video game equivalent of fan fiction. A very, very small percentage of doujin game developers go pro. The vast majority is confided to making fandom for fun.

An online newsletter from Disney has again confirmed long-circulating rumours about Epic Mickey 2, and says the game will release on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii in spring 2012, reports the site StitchKingdom.com.
The Xbox 360′s already seen the Mickey Mouse side of the Disney/Pixar character catalogue in the recently released Kinect Disneyland Adventures. Now, their corporate cousins from Pixar’s movies will be getting their own shot at motion-sensing hijinx.
In 1994, Westwood — they of Command & Conquer fame — released a platforming adaptation of The Lion King. It was pretty great! Westwood had no part in the bootleg Chinese version of the game, though, which added a few extra scenes.
