In the video game adventures of Commander Shepard, being a gay man was neither a matter of biology nor choice.
So the latest piece of official BioWare fiction is a little rough around the edges. Let’s say you want to write your own Mass Effect story. Need some help? BioWare themselves are here to help.
I have a lot of fun ripping on Dragon Age II. BioWare’s 2011 follow-up to their epic and beloved Dragon Age: Origins disappointed and frustrated me in many, many ways.
The full trailer for the Dragon Age anime we spoke about earlier this month has been making the rounds. it’s 106 seconds easily as enjoyable as any 106 seconds I spent trudging through BioWare’s sloppy sequel.
Dragons, they’re so hot right now. And not just because they’re fire-breathing lizards, either. Skyrim’s winning Game of the Year awards, racking up impressive online numbers even though it’s single-player and possibly even impacting the economy. It’s also singed people’s memories of that other dragon-centric fantasy RPG that came out earlier this year. In the months after Dragon Age II came out, BioWare’s co-founders have been supervising the finishing touches on Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Role-playing game Dragon Age is getting an anime. The flick will roar into Japanese theatres across the country.
This must be weird. Nerd starlet Felicia Day, who stars in not just a Dragon Age web series but some Dragon Age II DLC, sits down here to play…Dragon Age II. As herself.
Dragon Age Redemption, the official live action web series by Felicia Day and friends, hits the halfway mark today with a release of the third of six episodes. In this instalment, she’s stabbing a guy who wants to help out. Pretty good episode, and, so far, my preferred way to get live-action interpretations of video games.
