Church Uses Mii Christ for Easter Outreach

Posted by Brian Crecente at 1:10 PM on March 20, 2008

Never let anyone tell you that San Francisco isn't the heart of the gaming world. Where else would you find a church using Mii to promote an upcoming Easter service. Mission Bay Community Church in San Fran sent this clever picture out to parishioners earlier this week. So great.

How To Have Easter With Super Mario & Portal

Australian Post Posted by Logan Booker at 10:00 AM on March 19, 2008

easterboxes_1.jpgWant to add a touch of Super Mario or Portal-inspired love to your Easter holiday? It's easy, really. Take Kotaku AU reader Leigh, who decided to paint a few gift boxes in the style of the gold coin bricks from the former and Weighted Companion Cubes of the latter.

To enchant them with Easter spirit, all Leigh had to do was sprinkle some chocolate coins inside and before you know it, Santa Claus is trying to convince a jealous Easter bunny not to neck himself with leftover ribbon and a giant crème egg.

There's another photo after the jump, as well as a link to Leigh's blog that has a bunch more.

MGS4 Bundle Coming to Europe? And Before Easter?

Posted by Mark Wilson at 4:20 AM on October 12, 2007

MGS4PS3.jpgAccording to an interview with MeriStation.com, Europe Sony VP James Armstrong made a major announcement over a possible Sony/Konami bundle that just might have something to do with the most anticipated PS3 game in the short history of the platform. Here's the quote from the Spanish site, autotranslated roughly:

I am going to advance something to you; yes, we are working in pack of PlayStation 3 that includes Metal Gear 4 Solid and the new DualShock. We want that it is in the street before Easter and that is our fight at the moment.
An MGS4 bundle sounds like an absolutely wonderful and completely obvious way to sell some PS3s. But isn't it an odd circumstance when we've heard so many differing viewpoints from so many differing Sony execs for so long that we don't believe it until the information is on press release?
