Vooks has just gotten word that EB is set to begin selling official Australian copies of Ocarina of Time early, in response to Gametraders selling grey imported copies of the game a week early. The question is – do they have Nintendo’s permission?
While EB’s initial price estimate for the PlayStation Vita is definitely worth pointing out, it’s also worth noting that, essentially, at this stage, EB’s guess is probably as good as ours. That said – EB is currently estimating that the PS Vita (Wifi version) will cost $338 in Australia. What do you guys think – would you pick up Sony’s new handheld for that price?
Well, since we’re ahead of the curve, we already told you guys about the EB Expo – but just in case you missed that, this is the official reveal.
Earlier this week we revealed that EB were planning to launch a games exhibition, by expanding their bi-annual vendor show. Now we have more specific details on where, and possibly when the event will happen.
I have to wonder about beta access to games – shouldn’t we be getting paid for this or something? Yet, still – the dangling carrot of beta access has introduced many gamers to top-notch products they might have otherwise ignored – like Crackdown and, more recently, Bulletstorm. But what happens when beta access is used to sell the actual game itself? Is an early glimpse at a game enough to get you to pre-order?
