Why Robin Makes Batman Better Eric Chahi’s distinctive god-game From Dust is now available through the Google Chrome store for a discounted price of $US9.99. The game was one of the more pleasant surprises of last year.
That an entire console worth of gamers haven’t experienced Eric Chahi’s glorious strategy game From Dust weighs is a shame, but a shame that will be rectified come September 27 when the game hits the PlayStation Network for $US14.99.
From Dust continues to intrigue, yet we still haven’t 100% grasped precisely how the game will end up playing. although it’s undoubtedly a God game in the tradition of Populous and Black and White, the scale and art of the game is dazzling. The new vids, unearthed by Joystiq, seem to show a tiny bit of gameplay, but not enough for our liking!
I’m excited about From Dust for a couple of reasons – first off Eric Chahi, creator of Another World, is involved and, secondly, it’s a gorgeous looking game that follows in the tradition of ‘god games’ like Populous and Black & White. This new dev diary focuses on the art of From Dust.

Speaking to CVG, he went into detail on how the new boom in console digital distribution helped aid the development process of his new game, bringing creativity back to the games industry.
