We Ski Brings More Wii Balance Board Leaning To North America

When the novelty of Wii Fit wears off and you’ve found yourself still as chunky as ever, perhaps you’ll find justification for keeping your Wii Balance Board out with Namco Bandai’s We Ski. The game, released in Japan just a few weeks ago as Family Ski is coming to North America in the Spring, featuring gameplay for up to four players, Mii support and at least one hot tubbing scene. It also may very well feature races with bets involving hamburgers, but we’re not sure. Press release action right after this!

Enough of the PG-rated Mii activities already. Ringing bells, running around plazas, standing on escalators, enough. Miis are people too, and like people, Miis have needs. So it’s great seeing Namco’s Family Ski for the Wii recognising this, and allowing your cold, tired avatars a little Hot Tub time. With their daughter. And monkeys…hey, shut up, who are you to judge.

It’s not only nerds that love virtual idol sim THE iDOLM@STER, Bandai Namco loves it, too! The Japanese publisher has worked the game’s logo and/or characters into its other titles like Ace Combat 6 and Taiko no Tatsujin. The latest title to get an iDOLM@STER nod is Bandai Namco’s Wii title Family Ski, which boasts THE iDOLM@STER skis. It’s only a matter of time before THE iDOLM@STER becomes Bandai Namco’s corporate character. Stop now, before it’s too late!

Family Ski Brings Japanese Families Together

I wish I could drum up this much enthusiasm, but I suppose when you’re going to be one of the first games out of the gate to take advantage of the Wii Fit balance board, giving Japanese consumers something do to between intense sitting or standing sessions, you’d be excited, too. Seriously, look how much fun this family is having! Hugs all around!
