Gears Of War 2 Figures Grant Your Chainsaw Diorama Wishes

While NECA's first lines of Gears of War figures lagged badly behind the release of the original game, their third line - featuring Gears of War 2 characters - is a little more punctual.

Nobody plays WoW, right? It's a niche title. No idea why DC Direct continue to try and market World of Warcraft figures, as though there was a willing audience of millions for them.
It's Riku, he's looking moppish, this is a fine statue, it'll cost you $US130. Standing 11" tall and due for release in Q2 2009, he'll look great on the shelf next to their 117 other figures/statues of floppy-haired, 17 year-old kids with giant weapons.
Due for release sometime towards the middle of next year, this 14" statue of Final Fantasy VII baddie Sephiroth should find itself a home on many an overpaid Final Fantasy fanboy's adult collectible display shelf. Could have done with a dead Aeris hanging limply from the end of his sword, but the $US150 price tag is steep enough as it is.
It may not be as high-profile as something like
New Halo game on the horizon? Better get McFarlane on the case, get some small, plastic action figures churned out. Oh, what's that?
Can't tell you just how many Halo 3 figures this is from McFarlane. We've lost count. We can tell you, though, that for the first time in a long time, this is a new figure. Not a repaint, not an old figure with new weapons, it's all new. And it's a UNSC Marine, who comes with a battle rifle, a pistol and a trip mine.
