It’s hard not to get all wistful and teary-eyed when you watch these videos of Final Fantasy VI‘s various landmarks, faithfully recreated in Minecraft by builder Felix Trapper and set to glorious Nobuo Uematsu-composed music.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII is a game that exists. But for players, it exists only in screenshots and trailers. And has so for many, many years.
Futsuno Fantasy might look like Final Fantasy. Its initials, FF, echo Final Fantasy‘s. There are even Slime-like characters called “Slimy” (“Metal Slimy”, too!) and Chocobo-like characters called “Choko”. There are even in-game sprite maps.
The video is a little dumb, but I really enjoy this a capella cover of Final Fantasy‘s iconic chocobo theme.
