Sushi Cat has found the love of his life, but she’s inside a building, and he isn’t big enough to use the automated entryway and gain his heart’s desire. Gaining inspiration from a nearby sumo wrestler, Sushi Cat decides to eat his way out of his dilemma and into his love’s heart.

Sure Sushi Cat is a Peggle Clone, right down to the Sushi Fever at the end of every level, but it could be the cutest Peggle clone you’ll ever come across. It certainly captures the addictive spirit of Peggle, as this post was nearly very late.

This is “Tax Time!” based on Joe Stack, who on Thursday crashed his civilian aeroplane into a government building in Austin, Texas, housing the Internal Revenue Service. The attack killed Stark and a 67-year-old employee and injured 13 people, two of them critically. A long but, it should be noted, not rambling suicide note blamed the agency for making him do it.

There are three achievements worth 30 Gamerscore. See if you can pick them all up. Protip: When you pick up the gas can, you’re not using it to fuel up the plane, which I spent a good three minutes trying to figure out at first.

If having access to the game via your iPhone or iPod Touch wasn’t enough, you can now purchase Daniel Baranowsky’s soundtrack to the excellent one-button platformer for constant listening. You can also make various Canabalt themes your ringtone, to out-annoy your fellow iPhone owning peers.

You can name your price, as long as that price is $US3 or more for the entire soundtrack (of somewhat questionable value, considering the $US2.99 USD asking price for the full game). But, hey, if you really really love Canabalt more than three measly bucks, you know where to go.

Vleugels, designer of 16 flash games, has put together “Kenney’s Bite-Sized Non-Adventures” (above). Part 1 is “Watch a movie.” In it, you play our hero, exploring his apartment while finding the remote control and DVD that will unlock his happiness. For the next 90 minutes anyway.
Here’s a delightful little flash game that trivialises a serious problem faced by millions of Americans — the need to fart on a long elevator ride. You’re accompanied by the most clueless olfactory-impaired elevator attendant ever, as every one I’ve ever ridden with could detect the presence of fart in concentrations as small as one poot particle per billion.

I get to about seven floors and 21,000 points before I either rip enough arse that the bellman notices or I crap my pants (that is the implied ending, I believe.) Anyone have any pro tips? Besides, you know, taking the stairs?

Oh, and let me tell you what else is hilarious — crop dusting Plunkett. That guy always pins it on McWhertor.
This week he left Ubisoft and uploaded this flash game as part explanation, part thanks to his friends and co-workers.

As someone who’s quit a lot of jobs, and part of a generation increasingly A.D.D. about its career choices, I can sympathise. Sometimes, even when it doesn’t make any sense to others, you do have to make this kind of change to reset your creativity, motivation, professional growth or for whatever reason Mr David did choose to take the plunge. Based on the ending screen, it sounds like his departure was amicable. Best of luck.
