The people over at Turn 10 Studios give us another sneak peak into how and why Forza Motorsport 4‘s tracks are chosen and created. In this video they show off the historic Hockenheim track in Germany.
Turn 10 Studios, the people behind the Forza Motorsport series, have a rough job. In order to make a top-shelf racing game, they had to go to one of the most beautiful places in the world and hike, examine, and photograph the landscape. They have our sympathies.
Other nuggets gleaned from the ongoing mining of the Xbox marketing leak by Xbox 360 Fanboy:
• The next Call of Duty will be known as “World at War” instead of CoD5. There are five box concepts leaked. There’s speculation that calling it World at War is an effort to keep the lifespan of hot-selling CoD4 running as long as possible.
• Forza Motorsport 3 is so huge that the limitations of the DVD format became an issue. It will include 400 cars, 100 tracks and must ship on two discs. Car deformation was also mentioned as a feature of the new title.

Project Gotham Racing 4 is great. Sadly, with Bizarre now no longer able to work on the franchise, somebody’s gotta hop into their shoes, keep the dream alive. But who? Well, Microsoft aren’t short on options. Forza 2 devs Turn 10, well, they’re definitely an option, according to MGS boss Phil Spencer: We don’t have any clear set answer for how PGR5 might come to market yet, but we’re looking at a lot of different alternatives right now. Obviously Turn 10 is a strong team, and they’re really focused on Forza and it’s doing well so I wouldn’t want to distract them, but it is an option.

Surfer Girl Reviews Star Wars reports that a third instalment in the racing series is currently in development, most likely at Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios. Other than that, there are no more details. Guess the fans out their will have to keep their eyes peeled, or if you have a thing against peeling, boiled.
