Look, it’s all opinion, and differences of opinion are good, but last year Time Magazine claimed that Alan Wake was the game of 2010 and I simply can’t jive with that. This year, however, I think Time has done a great job of their top 10 games of 2011 list. I may quibble with the order, but really — they’ve kinda nailed it.
If you’d asked me yesterday morning my pick for Game of the Year, I would probably have said The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Now, having witnessed Quarter to Three‘s Angie Gallant play through the English translation of bizarre bird-based visual novel Hatoful Boyfriend, I’m not so sure.
