Yesterday was the 25th Anniversary of Metroid being released on the NES. So, with that in mind, I felt it was appropriate to repost this piece, a look at one of my favourite games of all time – Metroid Prime. Very few games affected me to the same level as Metroid Prime, so consider this love letter an early (and late) birthday present Samus!
Speaking to Kotaku earlier today, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime revealed that while the Wii U will still be compatible with Wii software, its predecessor’s backward compatibility with the GameCube will not be making an appearance.
Not sure why. It seems the guy wants to sell it or something. Not sure how I feel about the exposed disc drive and the ever-so-close shoulder buttons.
