Entertainment Weekly was given first dibs on the track list for Green Day: Rock Band
The second artist-centric Rock Band title now has a release date, with 47 tracks worth of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool coming to the Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 8.
Harmonix already has Green Day: Rock Band on its 2010 slate as a follow up to last year’s The Beatles: Rock Band, but the popular punk trio’s game won’t be the only music game from publisher MTV Games this year.
Not sure if this is the “biggest surprise premiere in VGA history” we’ve been promised, but MTV put up a “Green Day: Rock Band” video dated three days into the future, then pulled it. Embed code still works, though.
