Entertainment Weekly was given first dibs on the track list for Green Day: Rock Band
Not sure if this is the “biggest surprise premiere in VGA history” we’ve been promised, but MTV put up a “Green Day: Rock Band” video dated three days into the future, then pulled it. Embed code still works, though.
Green Day finally makes an appearance on the Rock Band Music Store next week, along with a selection of tracks from RockStar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival artists, including Marilyn Manson and Slayer.
Punk rock trio Green Day is bringing its catalog of music to MTV Games and Harmonix’s Rock Band, confirming the news dropped by the band itself earlier this week.
During Kevin and Dean’s Breakfast with Green Day this morning on KROQ 106.7 FM, Green Day confirmed that they’ll be doing something involving Rock Band in the near-ish future.
