A composer behind movies like The Dark Knight and a former member of the triphop band Massive Attack will unite for the Halo 4 soundtrack, according to a report today.
Unlike its predecessors, upcoming Xbox 360 shooter Halo 4 will not have a beta, 343 Industries revealed on its blog today. “Splitting resources to manage and build a beta is not on our schedule,” the developer wrote. [The Halo Bulletin]
What if I told you that your first look at 343 Industries newly redesigned Master Chief for Halo 4 was going to come through a new range of toys? Would you be surprised? Would you say, ‘you’ve been taking too many of those anti-biotic crazy pills man‘. Would you say, ‘meh, it’s Master Chief, how different could he be, I’m off to do something more interesting’?
Whether motivated by trolling or delusional wish fulfillment, some guy tossed up a page pretending to be a registration site for a Halo 4 multiplayer beta last week. 343 Industries, the game’s developer, quickly branded that as a fake, and the site was taken offline. That’s not good enough for Microsoft.
David Ellis of 343 Industries’ Halo team has tweeted: “If you see a page claiming to allow you to sign up for a Halo 4 beta be advised, IT’S A FAKE.” Hear that? It’s a faaaaake.
