Everytime I take a drink of blackberry cordial, I’m reminded of Halo: CE. And in a lot of ways I’m reminded of what it feels like to lose everything.
I think it’s almost a given that the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will appeal to folks from my generation – those old enough to remember the original being this ground breaking, history in the making, experience. But Microsoft also hopes that the remake will prep a new generation of gamers for Halo 4.
Widely expected, Microsoft will publish an HD remake of the original Halo on November 15. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will feature “seven of the greatest multiplayer maps of all time”, in addition to “the campaign of the decade remade and remastered”.
