Apparently the nearly dead aren't the only one's getting their kicks on the Wii. The undead are way into the Wii too, as seen in this video from a recent episode of HBO's True Blood.

Halo.Bungie.org (HBO) has just finished uploading all Halo 2 cutscenes to their servers in gloriously trendy high definition. Halo fans and machinima enthusiasts take note: all of the assets are available for standalone download (none of this embedded crap) and ready to be edited as you see fit.

We'll be putting Master Chief's exploits to Crecente's latest hip hop single (as soon as he cuts it, hides it in his brush collection and some very committed Kotaku reader leaks it to Bittorrent).

Halo 2 Cutscene Library [HBO via Xbox360Fanboy]

The Hollywood Reporter writes today that premium cable channel HBO has paid actual real-world dollars for the rights to air a documentary made within Second Life. Titled Molotov's Dispatches in Search of the Creator: A Second Life Odyssey, the 35 minute machinima doc will air sometime in 2008 and will be submitted by HBO for consideration for an animated short Oscar.
