I wouldn’t say I’m a “Horse-Game Connoisseur,” but I do think horses are pretty neat. So I got a kick out of the press release I received from Ubisoft today about their upcoming 3DS game, Horses 3D.
Oh my. Now I know why World of Warcraft decided not to have collision detection on players and mobs. Mind you, it’s not like Blizzard’s MMO has horses that kick.
They do that in real life, or so I hear from my flatmates who venture outside the great white door of my apartment.
Alternatively, this guy’s just a griefing punk. Doesn’t stop it from being hilarious.
[Thanks Chris]
Greatest horses in gaming history? Sure, why not. MTV’s Stephen Totilo, aware of the pivotal role they’ve played in so many of our gaming adventures, is compiling a list of the medium’s most memorable steeds. Or, at least, every horse from a game he can remember. And while there are the usual suspects (Agro, Epona) and some unusual – but welcome - suspects (Sunset Riders), I think the list could have done with a few additions.
