Tapulous, the studio behind Tap Tap Revenge and Riddim Ribbon, has yesterday been acquired by Disney, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
This is a neat idea. Someone gutted one of those plastic Pip-Boy 3000 watches and installed an iPod Touch in it.
Typical. A week ago I got an iPhone at the urging of a friend and then, at the urging of the same friend, bought Pangea’s Cro-Mag Rally (“I think it has multiplayer. It has this mode called “gather” but I’ve never been around anyone with the game to try it.”) That was $5.99, now it is $1.99, along with a slew of other Pangea games (and the VR Pro utility) available for iPhone and iTouch. Just goes to show, even if you wait a year, you still can’t buy anything new from or for an Apple device without seeing its price halved the next week. Full list on the jump. It’s a limited time promotion, like the McRib.
I’m a huge fan of Line Rider, that’s probably pretty obvious by now, and you regular readers probably know that I’m also a reluctant fan of the iPhone. So I was pretty psyched this morning when I saw that the inXile folks will br bringing their version of Line Rider to both the iPhone and iTouch for an absurdly low $US 3.
The iPhone version of Line Rider will include the ability to upload and download tracks on the web via the official Line Rider site and will make use of the touch interface for track creation and play. You can also watch your tracks play out in a movie mode.
These new versions of the game are set to hit the App Store and iTunes later this month along with the DS, PC and Wii versions of the game.
