Go away 2010. You were rubbish. It’s now all about 2011, and the games we can’t wait to play. That’s why throughout the first couple of weeks of January I’m going to be going through some of the games I’m most looking forward to in the coming year. On this fine morn we’re taking a look at Homefront.
THQ’s Homefront, the game that might anger some Americans, will come to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 8, 2011, in the US, according to the game’s official Twitter account. Australia gets it March 10, Europe one day later.
You can practically call an American anything to his face. Stupid? ‘Yeah, you got us right!’ Ignorant? ‘Sure thing buddy, I couldn’t even find Texas on a map!’
But look an American dead in the eye and call him a dirty no-good, red-faced Commie? Well, you just took a dump and wiped your heiny with Old Glory. Son – you crossed the line.
With news of Blizzard’s issues with local servers still fresh in our minds, it’s a bit of a relief to hear that THQ and Kaos Studios are doing the right thing by Australians, commiting to providing dedicated multiplayer servers in Australia for their upcoming title Homefront.
