Take A Tour Of BioShock Infinite’s Thrill Ride In The Sky

Watching the BioShock Infinite demonstration at E3, I formed the mistaken impression that the thrill-ride skylines of Columbia had, within the game’s story, always been intended as a primary mode of personal transportation. They aren’t, as Irrational Games’ Ken Levine explains in this four-minute video featuring lots of gameplay.

Street Fighter: Beginning’s End is a fan film with amazing fight choreography, some tight special effects, better than normal Ken hair and a terrifically bad sense of timing, releasing the same week as the Capcom-sanctioned Street Fighter Legacy.

Super Street Fighter IV: Adon Vs. Ken Vs. Cody Vs. Ryu

Yesterday’s new costume and ultra combo trailer was nice, but a pair of fight videos featuring Super Street Fighter IV’s Ken versus Adon and Ryu versus Cody are nicer still.

Wonder What Street Fighter’s Ken Tastes Like?

Cherry, apparently. (We always thought raspberry. Ha!) Ken gets canned for a red sports drink, complete with image stamped on can containing energy fuel. Good for him.

Legend of Chun Li Missing Ryu And Ken But Will Have Buns

If you’ve been passively following upcoming Hollywood flick Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, you’ve probably already realised that Ryu and Ken are not characters in the film. Why is that? Hrm. According to the movie’s producer Patrick Aiello, the filmmakers and Capcom decided to have this film focus on the origin of Chun-Li. Continuing, Aiello adds:

There are just way too many characters in the Street Fighter universe to cram them all into one film. We want to do each one the justice he/she deserves. So, in short, Ken and Ryu will not be appearing in this film. But, that doesn’t mean we wont see our red and white-clad heroes in potential sequels…

If this Chun-Li flick does decent business, just watch as Capcom goes sequel silly. (Not that it’s ever done that in the past!) The film’s producer does offer interesting insights on how they plan on adapting Street Fighter to the silver screen and stay true to the game’s roots:

Balancing The Arse Kicking Properties of Street Fighter’s Ken

Love him or hate him, you’re stuck with David Sirlin, the man who plans to bring balance to the forces fighting in Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. In a recent entry on the official Capcom Blog, Sir Sirlin breaks down the changes to one of the most popular, but certainly not most powerful, characters in the Street Fighter universe. Ken Masters may be a bit pedestrian, a tad obvious, but for those who think of Ken as a mid-tier choice in competitive Street Fighter play, they should give the list of changes a read. If we had our druthers, visual aides of the changes would be provided, but visualising them through text will simply have to suffice.

Chun-Li And Ken Battle in 3D Korean MMO

Game site Insert Credit directs our attention to Korean MMO Perfect KO, which has Street Fighter‘s Ken and Chun-Li as playable and customisable 3D characters. What’s more, the game’s developer Neowiz is open to including character licenses from other fighters as well! As Insert Credit explains, the game is a 6-or-less simultaneous fighter with 3-on-3 matches and a survival mode. Beta test kicks off December 6th, and Ken will be playable. If more fighters are added, they should really call this fighter Neowiz vs. Capcom vs. SNK vs. SEGA vs. Tecmo vs. Namco. Chun-Li and Ken MMO [Insert Credit]
