People often complain that there’s an overabundance of zombie-based video games, or that zombies are the new bacon, overindulged in to the point of nausea. Judging by pieces like Deviant artist Dantemustdie00′s “Sonic Zombies”, perhaps we’re just injecting the undead into the wrong titles.
“The Revolutionary War is boring!” “We wanted Japan!” “I don’t like Assassin’s Creed but I love complaining!” There’s no escaping the setting and main character for Assassin’s Creed III now. Sometimes I get sent fan made films and they’re erm… not that good, but every now and then I get something that blows my cotton socks off (disclaimer: I don’t wear cotton socks). This Australian-made, Zelda-themed video certainly fits into the latter category: it’s a fantastically put together flick, and quite inventive.

Back in 2006, Kotaku reader Ryan sent a photo of a Yoshi snow sculpture he spotted. It’s 2011. Ryan spotted another sculpture.
Violinist Lindsey Stirling has a whole bunch of YouTube videos in which she “rocks out” on her violin. She does that on her latest video, but this time she’s dressed as Link and playing Zelda music.
In the Zelda games, Link doesn’t talk. He’s the silent type. In this video, he doesn’t talk either, he raps.
