Godwin’s Law states that “as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.” As basically all video game discussion takes place online, let’s just cut to the chase and give der fuehrer’s take on recent events.
In today’s preview of Mario Party 9, I cracked that the game could easily inspire some great drinking games. As it turns out, the guys at “Drinking Games for Gamers” are way ahead of me, putting together a game called “Mario Party Down” with rules based on past Mario Party games.
“Are we there yet?” So you’re on a road trip with three friends, and things have gotten combative. You were thinking it’d just be you and your pal Waluigi, two buds taking some time on the road to catch up, but no; he had to invite along that annoying little punk Toad and his half-sister Princess Peach.
Granted, it’s a party on the Wii, but hey, a ton of people own Wiis! And thanks to Skyward Sword, many of us have even figured out how to plug it in to our new TVs and updated our firmware. So, should we want to pull out enough batteries to power three more controllers, we’ll be able to play Mario Party 9, the many game modes of which are shown in the above teaser trailer.
