Midnight Club LA Soundtrack Details

Rockstar has today announced the highlights package and being an LA game it’s very much focused on the west coast scene. A few highlights from the highlights (that probably show up my personal musical biases) include Tricky, Modeselektor, The Chemical Brothers, Bloc Party, Beck, NIN, and Ice Cube. Pizza Hut & Rockstar Giving Away Expensive Car Of Some Kind [Midnight Club LA]
5:20AM Stuart Houghton | What is it with games promos and junk food at the moment? McDonald’s are all over LEGO: Batman, KFC have their greasy fingers on Guitar Hero – now Pizza Hut are making Rockstar one with everything. It’s like they think we are all lardy fatsos or something. To ‘celebrate’ (i.e. promote) the launch of Midnight Club LA, Rockstar are working with Pizza Hut (one of the companies product-placed extensively in the game) to offer a custom Saleen Mustang worth $100,000 to gamers who enter via the ‘Hut website from September 22nd. A Saleen Mustang is apparently some kind of car. I honestly have no idea. “Video game enthusiasts love pizza and are some of our most loyal customers.” said a ‘Hut spokesman. Alright – we get it. Midnight Club: LA Demo Goes On Aussie Tour
4:30PM Logan Booker | Want to give the latest game in the Midnight Club series a whirl? Rockstar has let us know that it’s taking an exclusive pre-release demo around Australia (well, Sydney and Melbourne so far) to give fans and curious gamers a look-see. It’ll feature the Saleen 302E, which I believe is a car.
Here are the dates:
30th August: Shadow Wars – Manning Bar Sydney University
13th-14th September: Auto Salon – Newcastle entertainment centre
25th-28th September: Royal Melbourne Show – Royal Melbourne Showgrounds
Epsom Road, Ascot Vale
4th-5th October: Auto Salon – Melbourne Exhibition Centre Southbank
