We’ll give Sega credit for adding “extreme ironing” to Wacky World of Sports, something I never thought I’d see on the Wii. Granted, I’d not thought of the extreme ironing gag for at least two years now, so I’ll hopefully be forgiven for my lack of foresight.

Wacky World of Sports also features non-conventional sports like tuna tossing, timber sports and cheese wheel rolling, among other fanciful and fictional activities. Consider the bottom of the mini-game barrel sparkling clean.

Sega expects to release the game later this year for the Wii.

Seduction was Mata Hari’s special skill, her Unique Selling Point. She was like Uma Thurman’s character from Fox Force Five – unless you think that reference devalues the memory of the celebrated WWI spy, in which case.. forget I mentioned it.

The girl had moves, and to properly convey this, dtp have settled on a rhythm-based dancing game in which you have to click on floating musical notes and make Mata shake it like a silver halide Daguerreotype.

The minigame is optional, should you feel that your purist pointing and clicking has been compromised.

Not content with infesting hundreds of video games of their own, the Zombie horde has slowly shuffled onto the back lot of the Gang-related sequel Saints Row 2 for a fully-3D mini game.

Pop into one of the game’s many arcades and you should find a Zombie coin-op that uses the main game’s 3D engine to pit you (actually, your avatar’s avatar, I suppose) against an army of undead brain-chompers, like a Left 4 Dead-lite.

What could be better than this? Two things – first, if Rockstar take up the challenge and implement GTA IV in an in-game console in GTA V. Second, two words — Zombie Busey.

Saints Row 2 Hands-On – Story, Co-op, and Zombies [Gamespot]

So, summertime kind of makes me want to go to amusement parks, but since all I really do is sit inside my un-airconditioned apartment and play video games, I feel glad that Majesco is looking after my interests with the announcement of Wonder World Amusement Park for Wii, shipping to retail today with 30 carnival-style minigames and five “interactive rides”.

The park’s got five themed zones: Spookyville, Fairytale, Space, Pirate and, quite logically, Carnival. There’s a single-player Story Mode and multiplayer for up to three that I assume is local-only. Spookyville sounds rad, and while I’m no coulrophobic, this clown definitely spooks me a little.

Coyote Console’s the developer; full details after the jump.
