Why Robin Makes Batman Better Sony’s “Music Unlimited” app, a streaming music service in the vein of Spotify, is launching this week for iPhone and iPad. Previously, it had been available only for Sony devices (including the PS3) and Android phones. [CNET]
Music Unlimited, Sony’s streaming music service, hits North American PlayStation 3 consoles today, giving users 30 days access to millions of musical tracks before subscription fees kick in.
Despite going digital, music remains oddly attached to the devices used to buy it. Sony hopes to change that with the advent of Music Unlimited, a service that can stream your music to a variety of devices including the PS3.
