Sega Will Release HD Remake Of Saturn Platformer NiGHTs
Sega is bringing back NiGHTs in HD. The cult classic will be out for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and PC later this year. It’s no Skies of Arcadia, but it’ll do. [Sega]
NiGHTS Celebrates All Year Long With Hidden Content
We’ve heard about Sega’s NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams using the Wii weather channel to control weather within the game, but in an article on 1Up, Sega has revealed that there is some additional hidden content on the disc. In the “My Dream” part of the game, players can raise their own A-Life and the hidden content will allow them to have monthly celebrations. Using the Wii calendar as a time clock, the little AIs can celebrate various holidays each month including New Years, Chinese New Year, Halloween, Thanksgiving and even the Bull-Run. Make the jump to check out each month’s activities.

King Of Games’ Downright Classy NiGHTS Shirt
What happens when our dear friends at King of Games release a new shirt? And not just a new shirt, but one from Sega’s “Get Ready” series? We get excited. Hearts flutter, hands reach subconsciously towards wallets. In this case Sega’s NiGHTS is the muse, and the design is crisp, clean and striking (especially in black). Those familiar with the KoG ordering process, proceed to the starter’s blocks. Those not, bring money and a comfortable pair of online-shopping athletic shoes.
NiGHTS Using Wii Weather Channel
Today, SEGA announced that upcoming Wii title NiGHTS: Journey into Dreams will take advantage of the console’s Weather Channel. Not part of the singular player game, NiGHTS features a section called “My Dream” that features artificial life called A-LIFE. It’s part of the dream world, and it seems to be an area where players can chill and enjoy mini-games. With not so hot graphics.
Perhaps these are just early renders, because the graphics in NiGHTS: Journey into Dreams are quite solid for a Wii title. Perhaps! Wii NiGHTS Weather [Game Watch Impress]
NiGHTS Toy Melts Our Cold, Bitter Hearts
That, now that is truly adowable. In Japan, customers who reserve a copy of Wii game NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams can get this very cute limited edition Nights figurine made by the rad sounding company called NORISHIROCKS. Once they are gone, they are gone!

NiGHTS Has A Release Date
NiGHTS now has a Western release date. Well, a pair of ‘em. What, PAL land, you thought you’d get some kind of simultaneous worldwide release? Whatever. The game’s due in the US on December 18, but Europe won’t see it until sometime in January 2008. December 18? After every other good Christmas game has already hit the shelf? Good luck with that, Sega. ‘NiGHTS 2′ Dated [G4, via Go Nintendo]
Japanese Wii NiGHTS Trailer
Here we have the Japanese trailer for the much talked about NiGHTS for the Wii. The video is a little pixely and the music is god awful but it’s enough to give you a little taste of what the game is going to be like. Legions of NiGHTS fans have been eagerly awaiting this title’s release, but if the game is anywhere near as bad as the music, I don’t think I will be picking it up. As a matter of fact, just do yourself a favour and watch it with the volume down. Believe me, you’ll be much happier. If only I had had someone to warn me before I pressed play…
NiGHTS Journey Of Dreams Delay?
Word has it that NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams isn’t quite ready to wake up. According to NiGHTS fan site, the game is apparently delayed until Q1 2008. This holiday is jammed packed enough, so this delay could work out best for SEGA. The official NiGHTS US page shows the game is still on for this northern autumn, but we’re contacting SEGA to verify this rumour. Delay [NiGHTS into Dreams via Sega Nerds]
NiGHTS Box Art Shows Online
According to its own box art, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams will have Wi-Fi — whether that means is still anyone’s guess right now. Fingers gently crossed that it’s something like online versus play. Though, I’ve been burned in the past, so I’m not trying to get that excited about NiGHT: Journey of Dreams, which is out this southern Spring. Still, it’s nice to see a Wii game that isn’t preceded by the word “mini.” NiGHTS Box Art [Game|Life]
