Yesterday, Nike’s soccor division cranked up “My Time is Now”, which looks like the big campaign it’ll have going during UEFA Euro 2012 in about three weeks. It shows a soccer pitch, the locker room, a team dinner all overrun by ordinary joes. OK, I get all that.
I have a nephew who’s a bit of a sneaker enthusiast. He’s done the whole line-up-at-midnight-for-new-Dunks thing, despite the fact that he’s got size 14 feet. He’s also a gamer and I took him to see a demo of NBA 2K12 earlier this year.

Next Friday, Nike will be running an advertisement/competition in London that will turn the entire city into one enormous board game, with runners competing to criss-cross the city, checking in at phone boxes along the way.
