It’s the last day of the Kotaku “holiday” period — as of next week every Kotaco will be back on board and working like the monkeys from Rise of the Planet of the Apes (we’ll even be wearing knitted jumpers (we’ll turn the air conditioning up real high (maybe we’ll scratch each other (maybe not)))). But just because we’ve been on partial holiday doesn’t mean the Kotaku community has, so I bring you this week’s Community Kudos!
Today we received a delivery. No, a courier didn’t come to the office, nor did the pizza guy. Rather, a group of Kotaku readers exploded into our head quarters, massive boxes in arms, yelling “MERRY CHRISTMAS!”. We were absolutely blown away by the thoughtfulness of the gifts, especially some of the art and cards we received. Here’s the organiser of the Kotaku Christmas Project, long-time reader and all-the-time wonderful person, Chuloopa, to talk about the cards.
It’s the end of my first week as the associate editor of Kotaku AU, so to celebrate I’ll be handling Community Kudos for today. Hold onto your butts!
Hey Mark! Welcome back to Australia! I hope you had a fantastic time in Scotland. I bet you’ve gotten an amazing tan (lol). Anyway, while you were away I had a great time being the editor of Kotaku AU, and I’ve come up with some ideas that I think would make the site even better.
It’s our last kudos before Mark is back! As of next week there will be 100% more kilts, spray tans, Irn Bru, and Serrels stares (almost a month here and I have not mastered it — no, I have not even attempted it — I am a failure). Anyway, let’s kick this off so we can all start our weekend (and Logan can start working!).
