Some Of Ocarina’s Original Glitches Were Deliberately Kept In 3DS Version

In building the 3D remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the mandate for the developer Grezzo was to preserve fans’ memories of the original as much as possible. That meant, where possible, that bugs from the original Nintendo 64 game were intentionally left in.

Ocarina Of Time: The Weirdest Street Date Break In Australian History

Kotaku AU

This morning has been… interesting to say the least. There is no doubt that if you walk into an EB game store today, and they have stock, they will sell you a copy of Zelda: Ocarina of Time if you directly ask for it. I’ve spoken to a few EB stores this morning, and the responses have been hilarious.

Kotaku AU

Mario Galaxy’s orchestra soundtrack really proved the impact a gorgeous, sweeping soundtrack could have on our gaming experiences – so I’m really thankful that the upcoming Zelda will feature an Orchestrated soundtrack. But what if you can’t wait until Skyward Sword comes out? What if you want sweet luscious Zelda music now?

Iwata Asks: Ocarina Of Time

Kotaku AU

This is almost as good as the commentary track on the Goonies DVD, when they got all of the original Goonies back as adults. Amazing! Satoru Iwata, in the latest Iwata Asks, managed to get a group of the original core Ocarina of Time design team to talk about the game’s development. Nostalgia – ACTIVATE!

Ocarinas Are REAL!

Kotaku AU

When Ocarina of Time came out in 1998, I was 17 years old. And really stupid. I genuinely would never have known there was such a thing as an ‘Ocarina’ if it wasn’t for that game. I often wondered if sales of Ocarinas skyrocketed as a result of the game’s release. Now that the remake is about to be released overseas, St Louis Ocarina, who make and sell the instruments, are attempting to highlight the buzz to raise awareness of the humble Ocarina. Ocarinas are real, dammit!

Feel Like Watching 10 Minutes Of Ocarina Of Time 3D?

Kotaku AU

Yep, I’ve just spent ten minutes watch someone else play a video game on youtube. A video that was in German, of a game I have already completed multiple times. What the hell is wrong with me?
