Panasonic has just released an interesting piece of research. Apparently Australians are far more likely to download and store content rather than stream it direct from the source. Apparently we’re a nation of digital hoarders of all content — from video, to photos, to games.

Why, you’d play video games on it, just like NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr did at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. As website Joystiq points out, it took 57 workers four months to complete the 332.5 ton, 720p screen, which is comprised of nine million LEDs.

Panasonic has a new system for in-flight entertainment. It’s called the eX3 and it’s the follow up to Panasonic’s previous in-flight system. According to Panasonic, it has HD and even 3D displays, as well as video conferencing for first and business class passengers. It also looks like a PSP.
