Getting into Penny Arcade Expo’s flagship show in Seattle, on Labor Day weekend, is notoriously difficult if you trek up there without a pass. The three-day variety for PAX 2011 is now officially sold out, according to the expo’s official Twitter feed. They’ve been processing some refunds, freeing up stock incrementally, so there’s an off-chance passes still are available. But if you waited until now to get your money down, you’re probably SOL. With the Penny Arcade Expo’s habit of selling out far in advance, fans eager to attend next year’s PAX East should probably register as soon as humanly possible.
My friend N’Gai Croal and I have made a game out of choosing the 10 best video games of all time. This is a game, called Canon Fodder, that we invite game developers to play every six months or so.
At the Gearbox panel at PAX today, company president Randy Pitchford told a Borderlands-loving audience that the level cap for that game will be going up from 61 to 69. For zero dollars.
The organisers of Penny Arcade Expo have signed a three-year agreement with the Massachusetts Convention Centre to bring PAX East back to Boston for at least three more years, the Boston Herald reports.
It seems like only five days ago that the inaugural PAX East came to a close, and now pre-registration for PAX… West? Just PAX? What the hell do we call it now? Anyway, you can buy tickets now.
