The annual Consumer Electronics Show is the time for gaming peripheral makers to shine, and not many are quite as shiny as SteelSeries. They’re doing up CES 2012 big with a tiny Bluetooth gamepad, some travel-friendly headsets and mice, mice, mice.
Nyko never met a console or portable it couldn’t make a ton of additional crap for, and the upcoming PlayStation Vita is no different. At CES 2012 in Las Vegas the peripheral maker debuts its launch lineup of Vita accessories.
Play a first-person shooter on a PC and you get the precision of a mouse. Play a first-person shooter on a console and you get the precision of a small plastic thumbstick, which is nowhere near as accurate as a mouse.
It’s missing the LCD display and a couple of buttons and dials, but otherwise, it’s a fairly spot-on replica. We’ve included an image for comparison purposes, because we’re nice like that.
The kids at Hit Box got in touch over the weekend to show us this video of their custom fight stick in action. And as someone who sucks at fighting games, I am interested.
