Some of my favourite console experiences this generation have come from PixelJunk games, my personal favourite being PixelJunk Monsters, and now to celebrate Q Games’ 10th anniversary, all of the PixelJunk games are on sale, starting tomorrow.
It’s hard to look cool when you’re playing most music video games. You may think you look cool with your dinky plastic guitar or humorously scale-sized drum set, but in reality you look like… well, a person playing a plastic instrument. Kyoto-based Q-Games revealed today that its PSN title PixelJunk Eden would be headed to Steam. Priced at US$9.99, the Steam version will include the game’s “Encore” DLC pack. Eden‘s full 17-song soundtrack, which includes unreleased tracks, will be available via DLC for $US5.99.
I’ll try any video game, because any video game might have the year’s best idea in it.
Via its twitter account, Q Games has announced that the next game in its stellar PixelJunk series, PixelJunk SideScroller, is set for release October 25 on the PlayStation Network. That’s a US date – but we rarely have delays on the PSN, so we can expect an Australian release will be forthcoming.
