Trophy support on the PlayStation 3 has been live for awhile now, but good number of us have yet to actually unlock any ego-boosting status symbols on our shiny Sony systems. Our own lack of trophies along with news that major games like Fallout 3 would be shipping with no support for the feature led us to wonder about the current overall status of trophies on the PS3. We gathered up our consoles, kissed our loved ones goodbye, stocked up on canned food and got ready to compile the greatest trophy support list ever created. Then our intern, Jim Reilly, pointed us to TheSixthAxis, where they’ve already done that.
We love Jim.
TheSixthAxis maintains a list of games and the status of trophy support of said games, from the seven that can currently net you silver, gold, and gold-pressed latinum prizes to the titles that won’t be supporting them at all. There’s the odd mistake here and there, like listing Fallout 3 as supporting trophies via patch (not confirmed), but all in all it gives you a fairly good idea of where the trophy feature stands – expectantly looking out the window for new games.

EA’s hopping on the PlayStation Trophy badwagon, adding retroactive support for Sony’s answer to Achievements in an upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company update. The game joins PSN release NovaStrike as the latest to pledge Trophy support, making it borderline newsworthy as one of the new cool kids on the block.
In addition to that change, the official Bad Company site writes that further tweaks are coming, including technical performance fixes and the availability of bonus weapons, previously only available to those who had pre-ordered or opted in to the newsletter. Boosh! Wait… that’s not right.

Want the skinny on all of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune‘s PlayStation Trophies? All 48 of them? I do. Mostly because I’ll be quite comfortable restarting the game in order to secure them, having not yet beat Naughty Dog’s PlayStation 3 adventure. Arne Meyer at Naughty Dog spills the beans on all the virtual prizes one can secure in the game, just as soon as that patch arrives. Oh, there aren’t details details, more like a high level briefing.
Fortunately, it sounds like some of them are related to shooting people in the face, something I excel at in Uncharted. However, we’ve been hearing rumours that if you can get Nathan Drake’s shirt fully tucked in, it unlocks, like, twenty nude codes. We’re confirming.
